This region is very near to the Tibetan border, lies between the Langtang range and the Everest range. The trekkers will be rewarded with the enchanting view of majestic mountain Gaurishankar. On this route, we can see the different authentic villages and their life style such as Brahman, Chhetri, Tamang and Sherpas. A challenging part of this trek begins on the river bank of the Tamakoshi river on the way to Simigaun. The trek starts from Dolakha, near Charikot, an eight-hour drive from Kathmandu. The breathtaking view of Gaurishankar (7,145m), Melungtse (7,181m), Dorje lapka and Tso Rolpa Lake are the attractions of this trek .
